Dear Santa
If you or someone you love is addicted to carp fishing, you may be having trouble identifying things to get them for Christmas. In my experience, there are very few things available at local tackle shops that I can use in my day to day carp fishing. With the exception of things like waders, I tend to order most things online. Anyway, here are some ideas for gifts for the carpy person in your life.
Carpy Clothes
One of my instructors in art school once told me: “It doesn’t matter if you know what you are doing as long as you look cool doing it.” How right she was! That being said, Fox and Nash have some pretty cool stuff out right now. https://johnsonrosstackle.co.uk/524-nash-tackle-clothing - https://johnsonrosstackle.co.uk/873-fox-clothing - http://www.harrissportsmail.com/en/Sweatshirts-and-Hoodies/c-2271.aspx
JAG Hook Sharpening Kit (~$52.39 + Shipping)
Mainline Boilies ($16.79 + shipping)
Fox MK2 Supa Brolly (~$208.57 + Shipping)
Cygnet Baiting Pole (~$150 + Shipping)
Ok, this one may seem really out there. It may seem like the most unnecessary carp related fishing item of all time but trust me, I can absolutely see myself baiting up some very weedy and tight areas with this thing. I don’t think I would ever convince myself to actually get one, but if you happen to pick one up for me, I wouldn’t complain. https://johnsonrosstackle.co.uk/baiting-poles/17608-cygnet-baiting-pole-12-metre.html
I hope that gives you some ideas. If all else fails, large tins of sweetcorn are always welcome.
Merry Christmas!
